Current lifetime engine oil mist separators such as cyclone separators for crankcase ventilation systems are not able to effectively separate oil particles smaller than one micrometre. It is therefore necessary to develop and introduce new technologies for the future. A development by MAHLE Filtersysteme GmbH for separating oil mist is described in the file above.
