| The increasing power to size ratio in transmissions for passenger car and commercial vehicle applications leads to increased requirements for the lubrication treatment. Depending on the transmission version, intake and pressure filter modules are used. While importance is attached to as low a flow resistance as possible for intake filters, pressure filters (which are generally located after the supply pump) are characterized by a high degree of particle separation. Transmission oil filter modules are designed as long-life parts and can also be combined with an oil cooler in the case of special requirements.
