Well equipped for a booming market

Delivery vans and heavy commercial vehicles will continue to take on important tasks in national and international freight delivery, and are therefore in continued high demand on a global scale. The demand for high-quality original equipment and aftermarket parts is therefore increasing as well. MAHLE will continue to serve these markets adequately—with a complete product range and uncompromising quality.

In Europe, the experts estimate a mid-term annual growth rate averaging three percent for new registrations of commercial vehicles. In particularly dynamic markets, such as the Middle East or Africa, they even predict increases of more than five percent per year. The construction boom in many prospering regions will also support future demand for commercial vehicles of all types.

Overall, good prospects—for suppliers, too. MAHLE is one of the major providers of components and systems for the combustion engine and its peripherals. Especially in the area of commercial vehicles, the company has recently expanded its product range significantly. The additional production locations around the world guarantee even better availability of parts.

But that’s not all. “Targeted acquisitions provide a foundation for a number of new additions to the MAHLE Aftermarket product range,” says Arnd Franz, General Manager of MAHLE Aftermarket. “MAHLE has achieved nearly complete coverage of even more parts of the engine and vehicle spectrum in the European aftermarket, both with the opening of new OE-markets and with the new Perfect Circle brand.”

As part of the acquisitions, MAHLE also took over the engine parts activities of Dana, complete with its sales network. Under the brand name Perfect Circle, which is already well established, MAHLE will offer an assortment of more than 2,400 piston rings and nearly 3,000 bearings with OE-quality. Particularly for Renault Trucks, Iveco and Scania, the expanded MAHLE assortment is coming closer to providing a complete product program.

In the future, MAHLE Aftermarket will offer a complete range of pistons, piston rings, cylinder liners, assemblies, bearings, and valves of both engine parts brands, MAHLE Original and Perfect Circle, for markets in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
