NEW BRANDS, NEW PACKAGING, NEW SITES AND A PRODUCT PROGRAMME THAT HAS BEEN EXTENDED ESPECIALLY FOR COMMERCIAL VEHICLE APPLICATIONS: THIS ARE ONLY SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS THAT THE VISITORS TO THE MAHLE EXHIBITION STAND CAN LOOK FORWARD TO AT THIS YEAR’S AUTOMECHANIKA – ON AN EVEN LARGER AREA AND RIGHT IN THE CENTRE OF HALL 5.0.
MAHLE has become larger: the brand portfolio has changed and additional production sites allow more flexibility and increased availability of our Aftermarket products. For example, MAHLE Mopisan – the new member of the MAHLE family, specialising in small batch production – has been allocated its own special exhibition area. Of course, we want to inform you also about our comprehensive product programme – for instance, about the market-oriented adaption of the filter programme, or the extension of the engine components programme for commercial vehicles and the resulting improvements in market coverage especially for the US American vehicle segment. The growth of MAHLE Aftermarket is also reflected in our exhibition stand, which is larger this year and has been put into the proverbial centre. We are now represented on an area of about 400 m2 – in the centre of hall 5.0, stand B 46. The Automechanika Frankfurt, which first opened in 1971 has its 20th anniversary this year and is regarded as the leading international trade fair of the automotive industry. From 16 to 21 September, about 4,600 exhibitors will offer plenty worth knowing and interesting about the automobile and its parts. This will take place on 300,000 m2 total area – which is almost the entire exhibition site in Frankfurt. More than 160,000 visitors from around the world are expected – the Automechanika is highly regarded internationally: at the previous trade fair, about 40 % of trade visitors and 80 % of exhibitors came from a foreign country. The effects of the climate change on the automotive aftermarket will be this year’s main theme. The visitors can look forward to a lively information exchange about the importance of the current developments for the components market and the measures recommended by the sector. A special service from the organiser is the visitors guide “Green Directory”, which points out products that are distinguished by energy and material efficiency or innovations in emission control. As you can see – the exhibition is definitely worth a visit. We look forward to many interesting conversations at the MAHLE Aftermarket stand … and in particular, also to welcoming our new customers that we have gained with the expansion of our group!
