We have been a developer and systems partner in international motorsport for many decades. Nothing confirms our technological leadership as strongly as our successes on the "toughest test tracks in the world". In the World Rally Championship (WRC), the German Touring Masters (DTM), the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), the Motorcycle Racing in the MotoGP, the Offshore Powerboat Racing, and many other racing classes, MAHLE is a sure bet for success.
For 19 consecutive years, the winners of the 24 Hours of Le Mans have crossed the finish line with MAHLE pistons. So in 2006, with the 5.5 liter Audi R10 TDI being the first diesel engine in Le Mans, and in 2012 with the 3.7 liter V6 Audi R18 e-tron presenting the first hybrid car there. As the diesel engine with the highest specific output in the world, this engines demonstrate outstanding reliability and performance with MAHLE pistons under the toughest conditions.
