Novi/Michigan, September 28th 2009—MAHLE Test Systems announced industry-wide availability of their ServiceLogiq™ diagnostic service tool software for Heavy-Duty vehicle applications using Movimento’s RP1210 compatible Puma 2 intelligent Vehicle Communication Interface i(VCI).
MAHLE Test Systems, a division of MAHLE Powertrain, LLC, is a major supplier of software products for manufacturing and dealership applications. Movimento, Inc. develops products to the vehicle industry in the areas of network communications, diagnostics, software download and telematics.
ServiceLogiq™ is MAHLE Test System’s vehicle diagnostic software application for the service bay. It seamlessly integrates with MAHLE’s Visual Authoring Tool (VATÒ) for "codeless" applications development, including screen layout. ServiceLogiq™ has the ability to run stand-alone or from a central web server allowing OE’s flexible deployment options and eliminating the need to distribute application updates. Its fast execution rates (less than 10 second start-up and screen-to-screen less than 1 second) are an industry best. The software easily supports scanners, scopes and other vehicle measurement devices. Since ServiceLogiq™ runs from any standard internet browser, it also easily integrates other OE diagnostics and data such as Technical Service Bulletins, wiring diagrams and reports. Diagnostic session data can quickly be analyzed with MAHLE’s ReportLogiq™ web based reporting software for fast turnaround of early warranty concerns.
"This new capability was added into our test suite for our Heavy-Duty customers" states Chuck Heine—Managing Director, MAHLE Powertrain, LLC.
