Hanover/Stuttgart, September 21, 2016 – The MAHLE Group has grown significantly faster than the global vehicle market during the first half of the year. With sales of around EUR 6.2 billion (+12 percent in comparison with the previous year), the solid growth trend of the previous years was maintained. At the IAA Commercial Vehicles in Hanover (September 22 to 29, Hall 12, Stand C23), the group is presenting a series of innovations that will help to increase efficiency, reliability, and driver comfort. Furthermore, some of the innovations are setting new standards in the commercial vehicle sector.
Stuttgart, August 8, 2016 – The MAHLE Group sells its industrial filtration activities to the filtration specialist Filtration Group Corporation, headquartered in Chicago/USA. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price for the transaction, which is subject to approval by the antitrust authorities.
Stuttgart/Germany, June 8, 2016 – The MAHLE Group’s Supervisory Board has appointed Mr. Bernd Eckl (48) to the Management Board of the MAHLE Group, with effect from January 1, 2017. During the first few months, he will familiarize himself before succeeding Dr. Rudolf Paulik (62) on April 1, 2017, following Dr. Paulik’s retirement on March 31, 2017. Mr. Bernd Eckl will be taking over his predecessor’s responsibility for the Engine Systems and Components business unit and for group-wide quality assurance.
Stuttgart, April 22, 2016 – The MAHLE Group increased its sales to around EUR 11.5 billion in the 2015 business year, which corresponds to a plus of roughly 16 percent. “MAHLE has thus entered a new dimension. Stuttgart/Germany, September 7, 2015 — In the first half of 2015, the MAHLE Group achieved sales of EUR 5.53 billion and has thereby grown by 12.5 percent compared with the same period in the previous year. At EUR 324.5 million, earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) are also 17.2 percent above the previous year’s value. The EBIT margin rose to 5.9 percent.
Stuttgart/Germany, July 1, 2015 – The antitrust authorities have given their approval: MAHLE has acquired the thermal business of U.K. automotive supplier Delphi Automotive PLC as of July 1, 2015. As a result, the Stuttgart-based group is expanding its strategically important Thermal Management business unit.

Stuttgart, May 4, 2015 – Following approval by the Luxembourg Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), MAHLE increased the limit of its Debt Issuance Program (DIP) to EUR 2 billion on April 30, 2015.

MAHLE has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the wholly-owned thermal business of U.S. automotive supplier Delphi Automotive PLC (NYSE: DLPH). In 2014, the division and its approximately 7,600 employees achieved annual sales of around USD 1.2 billion (roughly EUR 1.0 billion). After approval by the relevant antitrust authorities, a closing of the deal is anticipated for the fall of 2015. Further, it is intended to acquire the joint venture of Delphi Thermal in China.
