MAHLE at Auto Expo in New Delhi, India

Supported by its Indian subsidiaries MAHLE Migma Ltd. and MAHLE Filter Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd., the MAHLE Group presented its entire range of products at Auto Expo in New Delhi (January 15—20, 2004).

The Group's trade fair presence was reinforced by lectures given by MAHLE employees, giving visitors with a technical interest an opportunity to obtain detailed information about the Group's core competences. The fair attracted a good attendance, and overall MAHLE was well satisfied with the interest shown.

The Asian/Pacific marketplace has been experiencing strong growth and has been the focus of MAHLE's attention for several years now. The proportion of the Group's worldwide sales derived from this region has increased steadily during recent years, amounting to approx. 13 percent in the 2002 financial year. In a medium term scenario, MAHLE is looking to obtain 25% of its total sales from Asia.

During 2004 the MAHLE Group will also be showcasing product innovations at Auto China in Beijing and at the Tokyo Motor Show.
